What is the difference between a Swedish, Aromatherapy, and Deep Tissue Massage?
ANSWER: The Swedish Massage is intended to relax and luxuriate you. It uses very light pressure… just enough to help you rest.
The Aromatherapy Massage uses the same light pressure and techniques of the Swedish Massage in addition to two or more essential oil scents to help you feel more tranquil and balanced.
The Deep Tissue Massage is therapeutic in nature, and utilizes aggressively deep pressure to break up knots and soft-tissue adhesions to help you heal and de-stress.
Can I be nude during the massage?
ANSWER: Yes. In fact, we prefer you to be completely naked during the service so that the oils we use don’t stain your clothes. You will be draped during the massage with either a sheet or a bath towel (your choice), but we do not allow our clients to simply lie naked without any covering. What if I get an erection?
ANSWER: It is perfectly natural for men to get aroused during massage; it is a natural response of touch and can’t always be helped. As men we understand this ourselves. There is no need to feel awkward or ashamed if you become aroused. Rest assured, we will ignore it and go about our work.
Do you work on men/women only? Are you gay-friendly?
ANSWER: We are willing to work on any healthy client that can pay for the service. We have no preferences, otherwise. We work very hard to be open and welcoming to all our customers, and we invite everyone to try us out!
If I have HIV can I get a massage?
ANSWER: You should always check with your primary health care provider before getting any kind of body treatment if you are HIV+. As long as you have their stamp of approval, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to receive a service.
If your white blood cell count is low and you are experiencing increased susceptibility to illness, you should let us know so we can wear latex/vinyl gloves to reduce the chance that bacteria will be transferred to you during the massage.
Otherwise your HIV status is your own business and you are not obligated to tell us. We practice Universal Precautions for all of our clients (washing our hands thoroughly, etc.) at all times.
What is your sexual harassment policy?
ANSWER: We do not allow, nor encourage inappropriate sexual behavior at any time. If we feel that you are making unwanted advancements toward us, we will give you a warning. The following time it occurs the session will end prematurely and we will part companies immediately. We do not refund any monies from Massage Sessions ending this way.
In addition, we always invite our clients to let us know if we cause them any discomfort, whether it is physical pain or sexual discomfort as well, so we can remedy the situation right away.
What is the difference between a standard massage and a duo massage?
ANSWER: We stand on opposite sides of the table during the massage, which means that just about every area of your body will be luxuriated in constant attention. It is also a sensory experience as two therapists work their separate routines on you at the same time.
Why do you want payment up front?
ANSWER: It is a form of security for us that assures the client is truly there to receive a professional service and for no other reason. If a client violates our sexual harassment policy we reserve the right to terminate the session prematurely. We do not refund sessions that end prematurely due to a client’s negative behavior.

ANSWER: We supply everything ~ This includes the massage table, sheets, pillows, oils, lotions, etc.
Do I need to drink water after my massage?
ANSWER: Yes. Lactic acid is what causes our muscles to get sore in the first place and massage moves these acid crystals back into your circulatory system. If you are not well hydrated you will not be able to flush these “toxins” out of your body and they will re-deposit, making you sorer the next day.
Can I get a massage if I have Cancer?
ANSWER: Depends. If you have a cancer that is spreading, or might be spreading, massage can speed up the processes in the lymphatic system and could endanger your health.
Otherwise, “massage” magazine published a recent study that suggested there is no danger in receiving a massage while sick with cancer.
You should not get a massage if you are undergoing radiation or chemotherapy as these could endanger the health of yourself as well as the therapists.
